Opening and closing principle of track ball valve

track ball valve is a new type of structural valve. The key to the design of this structure is that it combines the advantages of ball valve and gate valve. The ball of the track ball valve is a combined ball, with a wedge-shaped cone between them. There are 5 ° inclined planes on both sides, and there are two spherical valve discs with inclined planes on both sides. The spherical valve disc is connected with the cone through dovetail groove or T-shaped groove, and the two can slide with each other. The upper and lower limit rings and adjusting pads of the spherical valve disc are respectively stored in the data memory, so that they cannot rise or fall with the wedge-shaped cone, and can only move in translation or rotation with the wedge-shaped cone in a horizontal space. The lower end of the valve rod is firmly integrated with the wedge cone through the thread and pin shaft, and the trapezoidal thread at the upper end is matched with the valve rod nut. The rotation of the valve rod nut is driven by the hand wheel, bevel gear, electric or pneumatic device. A track pin is set in the middle of the valve rod, and a roller is installed at both ends of the pin. The roller can roll in the guide groove of the support, and the movement track of the valve rod is limited by the guide groove

when the valve is opened: rotate the handwheel counterclockwise, drive the wedge-shaped cone to rise through the valve rod nut and valve rod, so that the ball disc closes in the middle and separates from the sealing surface of the valve body, and then the wedge-shaped cone drives the ball disc to rotate 90 ° to open the valve. The ball is pressed tightly on the valve body by the mechanical pressure of the valve rod. When the hand wheel is turned counterclockwise, the valve rod moves in the opposite direction. The angular plane at the bottom makes the ball separate from the valve seat, and the valve rod continues to lift, and interacts with the guide pin in the spiral groove of the valve rod, so that the ball begins to rotate without friction until it reaches the full open position, the valve rod is lifted to the limit position, and the ball rotates to the full open position

deformation resolution: 1/300000 of the maximum deformation; When the valve is closed, rotate the handwheel clockwise, the valve rod begins to fall and the ball starts to rotate away from the valve seat. The valve rod is embedded in the spiral groove on it, so the cleaning after each use is very critical. The guide pin in the valve rod and the ball rotate 90 ° at the same time. At the closed position of the valve, the angular plane at the bottom of the valve stem mechanically wedges the ball to press it tightly on the valve seat, and then translates to both sides to open it, leaning against the sealing surface of the valve body to realize the valve closure

the motion trajectory of the rail ball valve has the characteristics of gate valve and ball valve, so its performance has the advantages of both gate valve and ball valve. The similarities with gate valves are:

1. Corrosion resistance. Like gate valves, the sealing surfaces of valve seats and spherical discs can be overlaid or sprayed with high hardness and corrosion-resistant alloy materials, which can be applied to various high-temperature and high-pressure and low-temperature and corrosion-resistant medium pipelines

2, short stroke

3. Small installation space: compared with the gate valve, the rail ball valve has compact structure and small installation height, and its installation height is less than 5 of the same specification The electromechanical model is 1/3 of yd100l 0.85/1.5kw RPM gate valve, which is conducive to pipeline layout

4, fast opening speed

5. There is no friction on the sealing surface. When the valve is opened and closed, the upward and downward movement of the cone drives the spherical valve disc to open or close, resulting in sealing or separation with the sealing surface of the valve body. Therefore, there is no friction between the sealing surfaces of the valve, with good sealing performance and long service life
